Job Summary
Develop and maintain product strategy and roadmaps for commercial fire systems while researching root causes of revenue gaps and communicating action plans to the Executive Team. Deliver on New Product Developments by creating business proposals and product requirement documents, ensuring alignment with Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing functions. Manage product lifecycle activities including SKU reduction, excess inventory elimination, and end-of-life planning, while organizing tactical day-to-day operations such as reporting, packaging, and marketing content. Establish strong relationships with Sales Teams and Channel Representatives to validate product direction and develop a comprehensive Sales Playbook. Demonstrate financial acumen by analyzing cost, schedule, and margin drivers to support product line growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Solid understanding of the new product development stage-gate process from concept to commercialization
- A few years of product management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and communicate across different functional teams and global internal partners in a matrix environment
- Self-starter motivated to expand skill set and grow experience
- Effective organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in Office 365 and Power BI
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Able to travel ~30% (in Europe)
- In the office at least 60% of the time
