Job Summary
Lead development of enhancements for the Global Validate service, including integrations to new countries and data providers. Collaborate with business development and engineering to deliver API product improvements that optimize processes and drive customer delight. Run performance analyses on international payment schemes to generate actionable insights and opportunities. Champion the product internally and externally through regular monitoring, review, and client relationship management. Work cross-functionally with operations, communications, and other departments to market and deliver the product fully. Based in Kuala Lumpur (KL Eco City) as a full-time role; visa sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of product management experience in payments, preferably in financial services or fintech
- Strong command of running product development processes and methodologies like Agile, Scrum, with a track record of taking products from concept to delivery
- Hands-on experience with customer-driven product development practices
- Exceptional analytical skills - able to structure databases, generate insights, guide decisions, and communication findings through storytelling and visualization
- Familiarity with API integrations, software solutions, and translating product features into logical rules, with basic code literacy
- A logical, algorithmically-minded approach to problem-solving - comfortable engaging with data, models, and machine learning concepts at a level that enables meaningful conversations with the engineering team
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, CRM, CMS, Tableau
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, results-oriented approach - equally effective with tech teams, business stakeholders and external clients
- Versatile, creative, and intellectually curious - you pick up new skills and tools in service of the problem, not the other way around
- Must be legally authorised to work in the specified location
