Job Summary
Champion Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to drive team alignment and continuous delivery. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of product goals and technical feasibility while applying design thinking practices for improved problem-solving. Maintain Jira artifacts and optimize backlog management to ensure stories are well-defined and aligned with sprint goals. Serve as a facilitator and coach for Agile best practices, removing blockers and enabling autonomous teams. Partner with product owners to define priorities, identify MVP opportunities, and refine roadmaps based on feedback. Stay close to the product as a subject matter advocate, translating user insights into iterative development cycles while helping the team remain adaptable to shifting priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 7+ years of experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies
- 7+ years of experience serving as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Must have CSM and/or SAFe certifications
- Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
- Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
- Flexibility to work with teams, individuals, and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach
