Job Summary
Manage the Industrial and Gas team product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand by aligning sales targets, margin objectives, and strategic product focus plans. Engage with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and grow the business through product demonstrations, seminars, and technical training. Execute industry strategies, forecast demand, and maintain accurate CRM records while adhering to Environmental Health & Safety policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5-10 years of technical sales experience, and 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Material Sciences, Occupational Hygiene, and/or equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales experience in relevant applications like Gas Detection/Workplace Safety, and/or Testing and Compliance
- Demonstrated sales success with technical products and service
- Strong commercial acumen with proven sales process execution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and prioritise results
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into execution
- High attention to detail, strong CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and driven by results
- Valid Australian driver's license
- Requirement to travel regularly within the assigned territory (typically 25%), including conferences, meetings and training events
