Product Manager II

Job Summary
Product Manager II to help define and execute product roadmaps for business operations platforms; translate roadmap initiatives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; gather, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders; facilitate discovery sessions and workshops; identify dependencies and risks; coordinate with developers, QA, and technical partners; participate in Agile ceremonies; manage UAT and release readiness; maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer; leverage Jira/Confluence for backlog management; collaborate across business and technical teams; familiarity with AI tools and veteran/community-focused initiatives; preference for experience serving Veteran audiences;Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tickets
- Experience managing backlogs and work items in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycles
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and requirements workshops
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams
- Experience working with enterprise business systems and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with AI tools, AI-enabled business solutions, or emerging AI technologies is a plus
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading and developing direct reports
- Strong background in lead generation and digital advertising
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, marketing analytics, and campaign optimization
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively
- Experience serving Veteran audiences or understanding military and Veteran culture is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered
