Job Summary
Product Manager to own a critical vertical of Hertz’s consumer-facing digital product. Responsible for defining, building, and executing the consumer strategy for the vertical, driving innovative features to boost revenue and enhance customer experience on Hertz-owned digital properties. Own the product roadmap, guide engineering teams, and collaborate with UX, data science, BI, engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and operations. Elevate data instrumentation and analytics across the product line (customer analytics and system performance such as latency and uptime). Monitor business and tech trends, secure buy-in from senior executives, and drive adoption. Requires cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to navigate ambiguity to deliver high-impact product outcomes. Demonstrated success in building buy-in for a bold product vision, experience with agile/scrum, and applying AI/ML technologies to create value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, applied math, data science, operation research or related field required
- 4+ years of technical product experience, leading the end-to-end product lifecycle required
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy, prioritisation and making complex trade-offs
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with agile environments and running/participating in scrum teams
- Experience applying AI/ML technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation, or machine learning models) to build product features, improve customer experience, or drive operational efficiency
