Product Manager
$190,000–$210,000 year
HybridPortland, New York, United States
Job Summary
Work directly with the founding team to build deep customer understanding and turn ambiguous opportunities into clear problems, priorities, and requirements. Collaborate with design and engineering to decide what to build, own product work from early discovery through launch and iteration, and shape the roadmap while making thoughtful tradeoffs. Connect customer feedback, strategy, and technical realities to make sound decisions, ensure teams have necessary context, and communicate decisions clearly with evidence. Help go-to-market teams launch products, learn from customers, and improve adoption while establishing practical product practices without slowing the team. This hands-on role suits someone comfortable making judgment calls with incomplete information in a fast-moving, autonomous environment.
Required Qualifications
- around five or more years of product management experience
- experience building complex software, workflows, or systems—not just shipping isolated features
- experience with AI products or tools and understand both their potential and their limitations
- Experience as an early product hire at a startup is a plus
- This is probably a particularly good fit if you enjoy doing the work yourself and want meaningful influence over both the product and how a company approaches product management
Desired Qualifications
- You are passionate about something outside of work
- You're okay being wrong. An imperfect decision early or on time is better than the right decision too late
- You want to work with an extremely high-performing team
- You demonstrate strong judgment and the confidence to advocate for your point of view
- You enjoy a collaborative working style: you can push back, explain why, and change your mind when the evidence calls for it
