Job Summary
Product and program management for braking components, defining priorities, P&L, and meeting market/customer requirements. Develop market introduction strategies with sales concepts and kits. Continuously survey and analyze markets and competition to derive product strategies. Develop concepts for new products, evaluate technical and economic feasibility, coordinate with interface departments, and prepare decisions to ensure competitive market coverage, TOP vehicle coverage, and time to market. Coordinate realization efforts and optimize market coverage and launch timing. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics and 3-5 years of automotive industry experience in Japan, Korea, ASEAN, or Oceania, with strong data analysis and presentation skills, ERP proficiency, and knowledge of product costing/pricing. Proficiency in English; Mandarin preferred. Desirable understanding of product functionality, differentiation, features, and commercial/technical benefits and experience with competitor analysis and market trend assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics
- 3-5 years of automotive industry experience in Japan, Korea, ASEAN, or Oceania markets
- Demonstrated knowledge of the automotive braking industry, including market dynamics, manufacturers, and product offerings
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills with ability to develop compelling sales pitches
- Proficiency with ERP systems and digital tools
- Fluent English; Mandarin language skills preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of product functionality, differentiation, features, and commercial/technical benefits
- Solid knowledge of product costing, pricing, and commercial/financial processes
- Proven capability in competitor analysis and market trend assessment
