Job Summary
Product Manager (Formulations) at Aquablu in Amsterdam leads end-to-end flavour and formulation portfolio from concept through launch. Owns product strategy across flavours, boosts, and enhancements with a focus on personalisation and adaptive hydration. Drives formulation development with external developers, contract manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers; oversees clinical dosing science, tasting and evaluation, and builds a supplier/partner network. Collaborates with marketing and commercial on positioning, claims, and go-to-market strategy; seeks influencer and wellness partnerships and stays close to trends in functional beverages. Requires background in food & beverage, nutrition, or consumer product management/marketing/brand, strong market insight, experience bringing products to market, and a track record translating consumer insight into product decisions. Demonstrates excellent palate, external-partner management, and a genuine curiosity about functional nutrition and personalised wellness. Nice-to-have: scale-up or brand-led experience; existing network in functional beverage or wellness; understanding of EU health claims and food regulation; experience with clinically grounded product development.
