Job Summary
Own product initiatives from customer discovery through launch, prioritizing the roadmap based on outcomes and strategic leverage. Translate user feedback, regulatory requirements, and business goals into clear product decisions while managing external integrations and third-party systems. Lead discovery by turning ambiguous problems into measurable hypotheses and requirements, working directly with engineering and design to ship digital financial products for social care. Drive the long-term product strategy to define a new category of software, ensuring decisions create measurable value for thousands of professionals managing client funds and operational expenses.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of product management experience
- Ideally in FinTech, payments, or another complex B2B SaaS environment
- A strong track record of owning products or major initiatives end-to-end and delivering measurable customer or business impact
- The ability to turn complex and sometimes conflicting requirements into clear product decisions and priorities
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions
- High agency and relentless ownership
- The ability to identify what matters, create a path forward, and stay with the problem until it is solved
- A hands-on mindset and the ability to move confidently between product strategy and operational detail
- Experience working closely with engineers and product designers in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment
- The ability to build trust with customers and manage internal and external stakeholders at different levels
- Technical fluency to discuss APIs, system integrations, data flows, dependencies, and technical trade-offs with engineers
- Native German level
- Professional fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in payments, banking, expense management, or card products
- Familiarity with accounting processes and financial reconciliation
- Experience with ERP integrations or mission-critical B2B software
- Experience building products in regulated environments
- Understanding of social care, healthcare, or other operationally complex service industries
