Job Summary
Conduct competitive analysis using internal, customer, and market data to identify industry trends and unmet user needs for ECI's ERP software. Lead the product life cycle from feature development to go-to-market execution for the German market, creating roadmaps and validating functionality with sales, marketing, and international teams. Author user stories, wireframes, and business cases while collaborating with development and UX teams to build robust, customer-focused solutions. Prioritize functionality based on business value within an Agile environment and network with senior contacts in the manufacturing industry. Resolve diverse issues creatively and co-author white papers to enhance thought leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Typically, a minimum of 5 years of related experience, either in a software/product organisation or within the manufacturing industry itself
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics, Engineering or a related field is preferred; education requirements may be satisfied with commensurate experience
- Highly self-directed in identifying and prioritizing personal deliverables to meet internal and external commitments
- Expertise in owning business case, research, needs validation, sizing, requirements, positioning and pricing strategies for a product
- The ability to interact and form trusting relationships with internal and external customers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention and focus on detail
- The ability to lead, negotiate, persuade and compromise
- Superior written communication and presentation skills are required
- Experience working with sales and service in a software organisation
- Proficiency in German and English, spoken and written
- Living in the North Rhine-Westphalia region is a plus, but not required

Desired Qualifications
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of the area of the manufacturing industry, within the machine building sub vertical is a plus
- Technical software/programming experience is a plus
