Product Manager, E-Invoicing

Job Summary
Own the e-invoicing product vision and roadmap, translating complex regulatory requirements into a coherent multi-year strategy for mandated markets in France, Germany, Spain, Poland, and Latin America. Drive expansion sequencing against enforcement timelines while leading build, buy, and partner decisions to meet compliance deadlines. Define the end-to-end user journey from business identity verification to live invoice transmission via certified networks like Peppol, collaborating with Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and Connect teams to embed this capability natively. Establish quality, reliability, and activation metrics to drive continuous improvement, while partnering with GTM, Sales, and Solutions Engineering to position Stripe as the leading enterprise solution. Represent Stripe credibly with regulators, certification bodies, and key tax authorities to build direct relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience
- at least 2 years in a B2B fintech, payments, tax, or compliance-adjacent product domain
- Deep familiarity with the e-invoicing landscape
- understanding of CTC frameworks
- knowledge of structured invoice formats (Factur-X, XRechnung, PEPPOL BIS)
- understanding of regulatory dynamics driving mandates in Europe and Latin America
- Strong technical fluency
- ability to credibly partner with engineers on API design
- ability to partner with engineers on data schemas
- ability to partner with engineers on network integration architecture
- Demonstrated ability to run a build/buy/partner analysis
- ability to translate the output of a build/buy/partner analysis into concrete roadmap decisions
- Experience launching products across multiple markets simultaneously

- Prior experience building toward Peppol access point certification or direct integrations with national tax authority platforms (e.g., Chorus Pro, KSeF)
- Exposure to B2B invoicing workflows in mid-market or enterprise contexts
