Job Summary
Product Manager for OpenTable's Diner Engagement, overseeing web (desktop/mobile web) and mobile apps (iOS/Android). Lead ideation, strategy, and execution of features that enhance diner engagement, loyalty, and session starts. Collaborate with a world-class engineering and design team to ship high-quality features, integrate usability studies and market research into requirements, define metrics to measure success, and drive product vision across geographies. Travel flexibility includes some travel within California and potentially international. Ownership includes managing an AB-test-driven roadmap, analyzing outcomes, and aligning product priorities with OpenTable’s strategic position. Prior experience shipping complex, multi-page product flows (web and mobile) for a user base of millions is preferred; strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a global mindset are essential. Bonus points for hospitality/restaurant domain experience and familiarity with OpenTable’s products.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a consumer PM with strong design sense and familiarity with design best practices for apps and web
- A record of success in bringing new products to market across web, iOS and Android
- Experience leading AB-tests in a consumer product
- Data-centricity and metrics-driven decision making
- Technical background to discuss development tradeoffs with engineering
- Experience with in-person user tests and usability studies
- Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Global mindset and ability to adapt product to multiple markets
- Passion for delivering digital experiences in hospitality/food and dining
