Job Summary
Product Manager for Core Cash Fraud Prevention leading end-to-end product lifecycle and serving as voice of the customer. Develops strategy and vision aligned to business objectives, guides successful launches, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant fraud prevention solutions across wires, ACH, RTP, and emerging payments. Owns backlog, defines success metrics, leads design and optimization of fraud detection rules and models (including ML collaboration), and drives migration from legacy systems with minimal disruption while ensuring regulatory standards and audit readiness. Strong emphasis on agile practices (JIRA, INVEST-driven user stories), data analytics, and partnership with data science, compliance, and risk teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management or relevant domain
- Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities from discovery to value management
- Minimum 3 years of Financial Technology experience with deep understanding of Banking Payments including Wires, ACH, Real Time Payments, and ISO 20022
- Extensive experience with fraud detection systems, patterns, and investigation workflows
- Experience designing and implementing on-premises payment and fraud prevention solutions
- Strong Agile experience and JIRA usage with INVEST-compliant user stories and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of regional payment regulations across US, EMEA, APAC and fraud reporting obligations
- Experience with API design, contracts (Swagger preferred), and web services (SOAP, XML, JSON)
- SQL and database scripting for large datasets
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Preferred: experience with fraud detection rule engines, ML models, threat metrix, emailage, Neustar, Zimperium
