Job Summary
Product Manager - Comparative Rater responsible for managing the rules and decisions around comparative raters, vetting new raters, API work, and prioritization. Collaborates with portfolio managers to draft business requirements, leads changes from planning to delivery, ensures proper defaults, creates timelines, oversees milestones, and maintains cross-departmental communications. Monitors post-launch performance and manages multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in property and casualty insurance, 2+ years of leadership/management experience, familiarity with product lifecycles, and strong Microsoft Office proficiency; seeks strong communication, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial drive.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in similar work
- 3+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance
- 2+ years of experience managing teams and projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); form automation tools a plus
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to succeed in an innovative and demanding environment
- Strategic thinking with ability to develop strategies informed by research, data, and industry trends
