Job Summary
As a Product Manager for Commerce Systems at Stripe, you will build the unified control planes that harmonize Stripe’s internal billing, seller systems, and financial data warehouses. Responsibilities include reducing integration friction for product teams, streamlining monetization workflows, and articulating the product vision for the revenue platform. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in product management, a solid background with large-scale backend systems, platform infrastructure expertise, strong communication skills, and operational resilience.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in technology companies
- Deep experience with large-scale backend systems and an API-first mindset
- Proven track record building platform infrastructure that serves the needs of multiple disparate stakeholders
- Ability to synthesize complex technical discussions and write succinctly for senior leadership
- Comfort dealing with many moving pieces and evolving legacy systems into their next generation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Fintech or at a Hyperscaler Cloud Infra provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience managing technical software products from infancy to scale
- A background in designing and building multi-product platforms or complex billing systems
