Job Summary
Translate business needs into clear, structured technical requirements, including data models, logic flows, and system interactions. Partner closely with engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable solutions using modern programming languages and architectures, while identifying opportunities to re-platform legacy systems. Lead user acceptance testing to validate logic and data integrity, oversee data migration and reconciliation, and manage project delivery through milestone definition and stakeholder updates. Serve as a technical-functional bridge between Finance, Operations, Real Estate, and Private Equity teams to implement code-driven solutions that automate complex business processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or software engineering, preferably in a hybrid or highly technical role
- Prior experience in real estate or private equity along with knowledge of performance calculations, deal life cycle, forecasting, and investor reporting
- Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams and translate business requirements into implementable technical specifications
- Strong working knowledge of programming and data manipulation (e.g., Python, SQL APIs, data pipelines, or backend logic)
- Experience designing or contributing to code-based solutions (beyond configuration-driven tools)
- Familiarity with software development concepts: version control, testing, modular design, and deployment practices
- Experience operating as a hands-on individual contributor while influencing technical direction
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with comfort operating in complex environments
- Excellent communication skills, with experience bridging business and technical audiences effectively
- Experience summarizing complex concepts succinctly for senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional team environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with modern data/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma) with an understanding of underlying data structures
- Exposure to cloud platforms or modern data architectures is a plus
