Product Manager – AI Data Platform

Job Summary
Own the product lifecycle from discovery through launch for AI-native data products, partnering with Engineering and Design to define strategy and execution. Prioritize roadmaps based on customer feedback, technical constraints, and business impact, translating complex requirements into clear specifications for data engineers, analytics engineers, and AI developers. Build products from 01 by collaborating directly with customers to understand workflows and incorporate modern AI tooling into development. Define success metrics and iterate quickly using insights and data. Work with AI-powered development workflows, including LLMs and RAG, to optimize the data stack for Fortune 500 clients.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience building and launching technical products from 01
- Experience as a Product Manager at an early-stage startup (Seed through Series B preferred)
- Experience building native AI/GenAI products, not simply adding AI features to existing software
- Strong understanding of the modern data ecosystem, including: ELT / ETL, Data Warehousing, dbt, Snowflake, Spark, Data orchestration platforms
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer or strong technical background working with data infrastructure
- Strong SQL skills
- Comfortable working directly with engineers on highly technical products
- Daily user of modern AI developer tools such as: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Similar AI coding assistants
- Working knowledge of: Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI evaluation methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another technical discipline (Master's is a plus)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building products for developers, data engineers, or AI engineers
- Strong understanding of AI infrastructure and developer tooling
- Experience working in highly technical B2B SaaS environments
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in fast-moving startup environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
