Job Summary
Define and improve identity-related user experiences, including authentication, account linking, migration flows, and admin-facing workflows. Break down product opportunities into clear units of work, specify their sequence and priority, and lead project management with squads and external customers to ensure smooth launches. Bring data, strategic insight, and context to influence team consensus on key decisions while building customer understanding through interviews and support queues. Make sound decisions with incomplete data, prioritize tradeoffs, and communicate progress to the organization. Work closely with Design, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Security, and Customer Support to validate opportunities and manage the full lifecycle from brief to release.

- You understand that identity product decisions carry security, privacy, compliance, and customer-trust implications
- You know when to bring Legal, Security, and enterprise stakeholders into the decision process
- You've taken an idea from its initial brief to design to development to QA to release
- You're at ease project managing a product through this process
- You know how to ensure that release dates are met
- You are capable of making sound decisions with incomplete/ imperfect data
- You have experience assessing tradeoffs
- You thoughtfully prioritize
- You move quickly on decisions
- You communicate well
- You explore your ideas through concise and thoughtful writing

- You're customer empathetic
- You constantly look for ways to build customer understanding

- You can work with engineers to understand how identity data is modeled

- You test them with qualitative and quantitative evidence
- You use tools like Amplitude, SQL, and Looker to understand whether a product decision achieved its intended outcome
