Job Summary
Drive and execute software and hardware product roadmaps for Netflix experiences on partner devices by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners like Samsung, MediaTek, Amazon, Comcast, and Sky. Leverage qualitative insights and quantitative metrics to guide decisions, measure success, and ensure high-quality technical execution across embedded platforms and consumer electronics. Balance consumer, partner, and business interests while debating technical approaches to build scalable solutions and drive efficiency. Requires deep experience in product management, technical program management, and embedded systems, with a track record of technical product transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience with software test tools and shipping high quality products
- Proven experience in product management, technical program management, software engineering, or leading software development projects
- Strong depth-of-knowledge of embedded platforms and the consumer electronics market
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
- Ability to think strategically and lean on data to inform decision-making
- Can balance consumer, partner, and business interests while considering technical integration tradeoffs
- Proven experience creating partnerships with cross-functional teams and organizations, driving large-scale technical execution plans with measurable milestones, debating technical approaches, and building long-term scalable solutions
