Job Summary
Manage regional product management of profitability and growth for a specific product portfolio valued at approximately $70MM in revenue. Develop long-term product and asset strategies in collaboration with Manufacturing, while articulating value propositions to lead strategic cost-out programs. Identify upstream and downstream collaboration opportunities, build relationships with key customers for developmental contracts, and drive execution for new product programs with Technology and Marketing Communications. Establish pricing floors with the strategic pricing team and ensure product testing and technical manuals remain current with regulatory trends. This role supports Polyvantis, a global leader in acrylic and polycarbonate films, serving industries including construction, automotive, and medical.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in the field of chemical engineering, polymer engineering or materials science
- Minimum 3 years Product Management experience in the chemical or plastics markets
- Working experience in an intercultural environment
- Very good knowledge of English
Desired Qualifications
- Technical experience in the plastics industry
- Affinity & experience with the Construction, Automotive, Lighting, Medical and Home Appliances Industry
- Additional languages
- User knowledge of common MS Office and CRM products
- SAP preferred
