Job Summary
Direct product strategy from market opportunity through commercialization for Verisign's emerging DNS services, establishing and enhancing product placement within the competitive arena. Manage interfaces with product development and research to validate early definitions with customers while monitoring technology trends and standards evolution to identify new opportunities. Build strategic relationships across DNS, AI, cloud, and service provider ecosystems to accelerate product adoption, representing Verisign externally at industry conferences and technical forums. This role requires 12+ years of experience and is based in Reston, VA with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years' related experience
- Knowledge of product management, marketing, channel management, and product development
- Working knowledge of the Domain Name System (DNS), internet infrastructure, and the broader DNS ecosystem
- Familiarity with rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, including Agentic AI, AI platforms, developer tooling, and emerging AI technologies
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships with technology companies, cloud providers, service providers, domain registrars, AI vendors, or related ecosystem participants
- Existing relationships across the domain name industry, service provider ecosystem, cloud ecosystem, or AI ecosystem
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, engineers, and senior leadership
- Ability to operate at an operational and strategic level
- Strong business acumen, good judgment, objectivity, and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent experience, required
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree, preferred
- Experience engaging with open-source communities, IETF, standards organizations, or other industry consortia is preferred
