Product Management Director - Deposits (Check / ACH)

Job Summary

Define and drive strategy for the Bank's Check and ACH products, including funds transfer, remote deposit capture, and bill pay. Leverage internal and external data to formulate product strategy, develop dashboards, and analyze profitability for sales performance. Partner with Marketing to define go-to-market approaches and evaluate decisions to launch new products or build alliances. Act as subject matter expert on features, coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management for regulatory adherence, and interpret performance results to inform forecasts. Approve product communications and lead efforts to expand or change existing features while ensuring alignment with federal laws and risk policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics
  • 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 8 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing or Sales/Service or Finance/Accounting Operations or Financial Services
  • 3 years of product management, or similar strategic management experience
  • 2 years of Data Visualization experience (i.e.Tableau)
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (i.e.FDIC, CFPB, OCC)
  • Expert experience in creating product briefings and presenting to executive leadership
  • Experienced in market research to create product roadmap, make product decisions and iterate rapidly
  • Knowledge of applicable product related regulations, and risk and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations to include: FFIEC- Retail Payment Systems Handbook, Payment Rules (NACHA, Zelle, etc.), Reg CC, Reg E, Reg DD
  • Industry experience in check or ACH products (e.g., funds transfer, remote deposit capture and bill pay)
  • Bank or Financial Services payment operations or money movement product experience
  • Ability to understand and explain end-to-end payment flows and member journey from transaction initiation to reconciliation
  • Demonstrated experience managing a product from ideation through launch, iteration, and eventual sunsetting
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience in clearly communicating data driven decisions
  • Deep understanding of Check / ACH laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a subject matter expert, effectively teaching and explaining complex money movement concepts to team members
  • Accredited ACH Professional and National Check Professional accreditations

Desired Qualifications

  • US military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner
