Job Summary
Receiving, processing, packing and shipping blood products/samples for hospital orders; triage orders by date/time; select and carefully pack life-saving blood products with correct temperature regulation for safe transport; communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors; maintain product records to preserve traceability; perform data entry for manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping; identify and quarantine products/samples that don’t meet quality requirements; may make hospital deliveries as assigned; standard schedule Sunday-Thursday 12:00pm-8:30pm with potential overtime; pay $20.81/hour with applicable shift differentials; requires attention to detail, good computer skills, and decision-making abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
