Job Summary
Product Owner/AVP responsible for APAC expansion and managing external partners, including vendor coordination, product roadmap development, crafting requirements in JIRA, and prioritizing merchant payment methods and reconciliation workflows. Lead agile delivery, groom user stories, manage epics/themes, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure high-quality IT platform configuration, integrations, testing and hyper-care handover. Demonstrates knowledge of banking domain, payment processing, and reporting tools, with experience in Agile/Safe practices, Java, databases, and GCP; supports release planning, risk mitigation, and audit remediation while enabling back-office processes like invoicing, funding instructions, and data provisioning.
Required Qualifications
- AVP level - senior product owner experience
- experience in banking domain and payment processing
- agile/SCRUM/SAFe proficiency
- strong knowledge of Java and SQL/DB concepts
- JIRA and backlog management
- vendor management and stakeholder coordination
- ability to define product roadmaps and write clear requirements
- experience with IT platform integration and testing
- experience with regulatory/compliance considerations and audits
- excellent communication skills in a cross-functional environment
