Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle plans for assigned capital equipment categories, including market strategy, supplier selection, and lifecycle returns. Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of national contracts to secure favorable commercial terms while reducing the total cost of ownership. Perform industry benchmarking and total cost of ownership analysis to drive continuous fleet improvements and optimize purchases and disposals. Present findings and project progress to executives, collaborating across operations, sales, procurement, and marketing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study
- 1-3 years of product life-cycle management
- Familiarity with the construction capital equipment marketplace
- A strategic view of the total supply chain
- Demonstrated leadership in internal and external functions
- Proven results in total cost of ownership reduction and process efficiency improvement
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to manage and analyze existing contracts
- Ability to articulate and frame issues in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to affect positive change and to deliver results in a complex organization
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Project management experience
- MBA
- Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time
- Must be able to load and unload heavy equipment
- Must be able to perform work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures
- Must be able to perform work at night and on weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the construction capital equipment marketplace, either from an equipment fleet management or manufacturer perspective
