Job Summary
Execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly customer commitments with 100% OTIF, partnering with operations to ensure parts move through the facility on schedule. Communicate execution risks and opportunities to leadership while establishing risk mitigation plans at the start of each project. Coordinate resources across quality, manufacturing, and design engineering to drive rapid resolution of ECOs, EO's, and MRB for development parts. Produce hardware execution schedules for management and customers, maintaining accurate ERP data for commit dates and order quantities. Drive cost improvement projects to achieve gross margin targets and document lessons learned for future orders. Maintain a culture of accountability and safety while managing direct reports. Requires 5-10 years of production planning experience in automotive, aerospace, or regulated environments, with MRP/ERP proficiency and MS Project expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years' of production planning experience in an engineered to order, Automotive, Aerospace production, or heavily regulated environment
- 3 + years as a supervisor or Team Leadership role
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Ability to create and maintain MS project Schedules
- Demonstrated Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to drive process improvements and cultural change, be a change agent
- Ability to identify risk and develop plans to mitigate
- High School or technical/vocational school degree
- Ability to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25–30 lbs
- Regular use of computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment
- All candidates must meet the US persons criteria
Desired Qualifications
- MRP/ERP experience with either SAP or Epicor
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (and/or equivalent experience)
- PMP or APICS Certification
