Job Summary
Lead and program manage the development and release to manufacturing of silicon photonic components, steering the product lifecycle from pre-concept to First Production Shipment. Partner with Silicon Photonics BUs, PLM, and Engineering to deliver wafer-level and component-level devices, meeting time-to-market, cost targets, wafer yield, and ramp plans. Drive NPI for semiconductor/photonic components, influence external foundries and packaging houses, and guide cross-functional teams through Process Design Kits, wafer fabrication, packaging, and test to ensure robust, scalable manufacturing with high quality. Strong program management, technical depth in silicon photonics, and ability to align stakeholders toward shared goals are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) in Engineering (Electrical, Materials, Optical) or equivalent experience
- 10+ years minimum experience in supply chain, semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, component development, or product development
- Experience working on new product introductions with semiconductor manufacturers, external foundries, assembly suppliers, and product development teams, specifically for silicon photonics components
- Strong analytical and program-management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet time-to-market and yield targets
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, component development, or product development
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Materials, Optical) or equivalent experience
- Experience working on new product introductions with semiconductor manufacturers, external foundries, assembly suppliers, and product development teams, specifically for silicon photonics components
- Strong program management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Experience with Process Design Kits (PDKs) and foundry processes
- Understanding of silicon photonics technology, wafer fabrication processes (lithography, etching, deposition), and component-level packaging and test
- Ability to influence key partners, senior leaders, and external partners
- Ability to meet time-to-market requirements, component cost targets, wafer yield goals, and volume ramp plans
- Experience in manufacturing and supply chain management of silicon photonic components
