Job Summary
NA Product Lifecycle & Design to Value Manager leads cost-optimization and standardization across North America, manages lifecycle and design transfers from master specs to SKU BOMs, harmonizes production-site portfolios, supports procurement strategies with market intelligence, and collaborates with Industrialization, NPI, and global Product Portfolio Management to enable market growth and cost-competitive product designs in absorbent hygiene products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical, or related field
- 8 years of experience in Product Development, Hygiene, Non-Woven or Consumer Goods occupation
- 8 years of experience Developing and optimizing product designs and materials to enhance performance and cost efficiency for disposable absorbent products
- 8 years of experience Validating raw materials and new product concepts, in collaboration with suppliers and internal labs
- 8 years of experience Characterizing materials (e.g., fluff pulp, SAP, nonwovens, films, adhesives) for performance attributes such as absorbency, rewet, retention, and/or softness
- 8 years of experience Navigating complex IP constraints to ensure freedom to operate and/or designing around existing patents to enable market access
- 8 years of experience Working with super absorbent polymers and nonwoven materials (i.e. spunbond, meltblown, carded), selecting and validating them based on performance parameters such as retention capacity, permeability, softness to optimize product design in absorbent hygiene products
- Travel required up to 15% of the time
