HybridLondon, England, United Kingdom

Full TimeSenior LevelLargeFinancial Services

Job Summary

Define the vision for business payments by creating long-term strategy across multiple teams, focusing on accounts payable, payroll, and international transfer workflows. Own measurable outcomes by setting metrics for setup effort, payment accuracy, and reconciliation success while holding teams accountable. Shape exceptional UX at scale by simplifying complex financial operations for small businesses while maintaining flexibility for experienced finance teams. Make strategic choices using customer insight, data, and economics to validate opportunities before committing significant investment. Lead through others by coaching Product Managers and raising the bar for product craft and delivery quality. Stay close to execution by stepping in to unblock critical initiatives and create alignment across product, engineering, design, and compliance partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Strategic Depth: You have set and delivered a long-term product strategy across a complex domain, turning ambiguity into a clear point of view, explicit choices, sequenced bets and measurable results.
  • Product Management Excellence: You set a high bar for customer discovery, product craft, UX, prioritisation and execution—and raise it in others.
  • Hands-on Leadership and Influence: You move fluently between long-term strategy and product or system detail, stepping in to unblock critical work and challenge assumptions.
  • You communicate clearly and create alignment across functions when priorities compete and trade-offs are difficult.

Desired Qualifications

  • Business Payments or Payroll Expertise: Ideally, you bring strong experience in business payments, accounts payable, payroll, accounting workflows or adjacent B2B financial software.
  • You understand – or can quickly master – the operational realities of high-volume, time-critical and regulated money movement.
  • Data and Commercial Judgement: You use customer insight, data, economics and technical judgement to size opportunities, define leading measures of success and make responsible investment choices.
  • You are comfortable balancing speed, reliability, risk, customer experience and commercial outcomes in a regulated environment.
