Job Summary
Lead on-time installation and qualification of complex semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring smooth handoff, predictable cycle times, and successful warranty sign-off. Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes, performing setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of advanced systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership while providing clear status updates to all stakeholders. Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately. Operate independently following documented procedures with extensive domestic and international travel required. Work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, representing KLA technology directly at customer sites worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
- Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
- 90% + travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with high-vacuum systems strongly preferred
