Job Summary

Oversee end-to-end installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment by leading technical evaluations, diagnosing system-level issues, and executing root cause rectification. Manage model change upgrades, develop new installation procedures, and create Best Known Practices and Plans of Action for unique escalations. Mentor junior engineers through on-site guidance, OJT, and knowledge sharing while preparing daily field service reports and quality feedback. Requires extensive international travel with readiness for extended assignments and independent judgment in selecting installation methods.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years
  • Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting unique methods, techniques and evaluation criteria in obtaining results
  • Ability to work with service engineer from Tier1/Tier2 to oversee the whole deliverables and process
  • Ability to lead to evaluate, analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot technical equipment problems related to installation
  • Ability to lead the end-to-end troubleshooting and repair of complex system-level problems, orchestrating collaboration with factory experts to proactively resolve issues and drive system root cause rectification
  • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
  • Ability to identify and create BPs (Best Known Practices) and BKMs (Best Know Method)
  • Ability to lead install escalations and drive creation and execution of POAs for complex issues
  • Ability to prepare field service reports and daily passdowns on Installation progress and non-conformances ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Ability to drive post-activity Quality Feedback Report by implementing BKMs (Best-Known Method)
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers
  • Ability to provide guidance and technical assistance at customer sites
  • Ability to develop complex POAs (Plan Of Action) for unique issues
  • Ability to provide phone, email, and on-site support and attend technical call for other PIEs
  • Ability to perform model change upgrades to fielded systems independently
  • Ability to identify and develop new process and procedures for installation and upgrade working directly with PLC/NPI engineers
  • Ability to lead involvement in new product development and pre-release testing
  • Ability to establish and maintain readiness for obtaining all necessary international travel documents and managing personal lives to support extended travel assignments
  • Ability to provide guidance on managing personal finance to prevent disruption to scheduled activities and promote operationally continuity
  • Ability to provide OJT, coaching, and mentoring to all junior engineers
  • Ability to share BKM, Best practice, and knowledge
  • 90% + Travel Required
