Job Summary
Install and qualify advanced KLA semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring installations meet quality standards and schedule requirements. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during setup by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex systems while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and customer teams to verify performance and transfer tool ownership. Complete installation documentation, provide clear status updates to stakeholders, and secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools. Operate independently following documented procedures with extensive domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Experience with high-vacuum systems
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
- Must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
- 90% + travel
