Job Summary
Install and qualify advanced KLA semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring installations meet quality standards and warranty requirements. Diagnose and resolve technical issues during setup by identifying root causes, performing alignment and calibration, and collaborating with engineering teams to transfer tool ownership. Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and complete installation documentation accurately. Operate independently following documented procedures while managing extensive travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Experience with high-vacuum systems
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
- Must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
- 90% + travel
