Job Summary
Install and qualify advanced KLA semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites globally, ensuring installations meet quality standards and schedule requirements. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during setup by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Perform alignment, calibration, and verification of complex systems while collaborating cross-functionally to transfer tool ownership and secure warranty sign-off. Complete installation documentation and provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the process. This role requires working 6 days a week with extensive travel to represent KLA technology directly at client locations worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronics, fluid dynamics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Experience with chemistry or chemical analysis
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Associate of Science/Engineering/Technology minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry
- Must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
- Travel >80% of the time
