Job Summary
Own and evolve Seremoni's product innovation portfolio by developing the innovation strategy and product roadmap to ensure the company meets financial targets. Balance near-term core-business launches with long-term platform bets for the next 3–5 years, acting as the connective tissue between R&D, operations, sales, and leadership. Apply a Jobs-to-Be-Done lens to ideation, set innovation guardrails to focus the pipeline, and manage new product launches end-to-end from concept through commercialization. Build a disciplined innovation process covering stage gate and portfolio management while shaping positioning for new lines in partnership with Marketing. Serve as the central innovation hub tracking category trends and competitive launches to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in product development, innovation, or category management in CPG food/beverage
- A track record of taking products from concept to shelf
- Fluent in running a stage-gated NPD process end-to-end
- Ability to translate market insight into sharp product briefs and sales narratives
- Ability to assess risk/reward with imperfect information
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and sales
- Strong quantitative fluency: market sizing, COGS optimization, margin modeling, and data analytics
- Excellent communication across audiences, from R&D technicians to executive leadership
- Resilience and resourcefulness
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with seafood or another animal protein category
- Familiarity with Jobs-to-Be-Done or similar consumer-insight frameworks
