Job Summary
You are the face of Arc’teryx on the retail floor, delivering a best-in-class brand experience by sharing technical product knowledge, solving problems, and recommending products to guests. You’ll champion Arc’teryx as a brand ambassador in-store and in the community, support merchandising and store initiatives, provide feedback on the in-store experience, and handle guest transactions via the POS system (including warranties and Used Gear trade-ins). You will receive and unpack inventory as needed, respond to phones, voicemails, and emails (including Epicenter social channels), and collaborate with store leadership to deliver delightful customer experiences. Availability includes holiday periods (Black Friday and December) with a minimum commitment of one open, one close, and one weekend shift per week. This role is based in Rosemont, IL and requires on-site presence (Full Time – 30-40 hours/week; Part Time – 10-30 hours/week). You are passionate about outdoor living, customer service, problem solving, teamwork, and continuously improving the guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Availability for a minimum of one open, one close and one weekend shift each week
- Full Time – 30-40 hours per week (5 days per week) OR Part Time – 10-30 hours per week (2-4 days per week)
- Able to work during Black Friday and holiday season
- Willing to balance autonomy with collaboration
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic store environment
- Willingness to learn and share product knowledge
- Ability to process guest transactions via POS including warranties, trade-ins, purchases, and returns
- Ability to handle inventory tasks (unpacking boxes weighing 5-30 lbs)
- Strong communication via phones, emails, and social channels
- Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
- Ability to work varying shifts as business needs require
