Job Summary

You are the face of the Arc’teryx brand on the retail floor, delivering an unforgettable guest experience by sharing technical product knowledge and solving problems. You champion Arc’teryx as a brand ambassador in-store and in the community, develop product understanding, support store projects and brand initiatives, and provide feedback on merchandising and the in-store experience. Responsibilities include assisting guests with product recommendations, processing transactions via the POS system (including warranties, Used Gear trade-ins, purchases, and returns), receiving/unpacking inventory (boxes weighing 5-30 lbs), answering store phones and emails (and occasionally engaging on Epicenter social channels), and collaborating with store leadership while performing various tasks as assigned. Availability includes the ability to work a mix of open/close shifts and weekends with Full Time (30-40 hours) or Part Time (10-30 hours) per week, and availability during peak holiday periods (Black Friday onward). This role requires a passion for customer service, adaptability, proactive problem solving, and a love of getting outside and living the Arc’teryx ethos.

Required Qualifications

  • Customer-facing retail experience
  • Strong product knowledge ability
  • Excellent communication and problem solving
  • Flexibility to work seasonal peak periods (Black Friday and holiday season)
  • Ability to operate POS system and handle inventory tasks
  • Willingness to work 30-40 hours (full-time) or 10-30 hours (part-time) per week as scheduled
