Product Group Manager, Field Evaluations, Midwest and Eastern US

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day delivery of high-quality evaluation services for the designated product group in the Midwest and Eastern USA. Manage a team of approximately 8–12 Field Evaluation Representatives, driving service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Build and coach a high-performing team, oversee hiring and performance management, foster strong customer relationships through proactive technical guidance and issue resolution, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in service delivery, prepare management reports, and collaborate across teams to resolve delivery risks, manage dependencies, and improve customer outcomes. Support opportunities including commercial quotes and RFPs as needed, and promote a positive team culture focused on respect, learning, and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Minimum 5 years of certification or equivalent technical experience (preferred)
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in a technical field
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian electrical standards and local installation requirements and/or codes (e.g., NEC, CEC) is a plus
- Ability to assess and report on upcoming product trends within the assigned market group
- Problem resolution to deliver high quality and timely service
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Conflict resolution skills to deal with employee and customer issues
- Ability to communicate effectively with external customers, auditors, QA Managers and technical staff
