Product Expert – Safety & Medical

Job Summary
Develop and maintain the technology vision and roadmap for Safety and Medical capabilities aligned to Haleon's R&D strategy. Partner with Safety, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, and Innovation teams to prioritize the product backlog and deliver enhancements using Agile methodologies. Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and compliance. Lead delivery and lifecycle management of Safety and Medical platforms while ensuring all solutions meet GxP validation, audit readiness, and data integrity standards. Manage vendor relationships, resolve escalations, and drive adoption of new capabilities across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 14 years of experience in relevant field
- Expert knowledge of Pharmacovigilance, Drug/Product Safety, Medical Affairs, and Medical Information processes
- Experience with one or more industry-leading Safety and Medical platforms such as Veeva Safety, ArisGlobal LifeSphere, Oracle Argus Safety, MedDRA, Medical Information platforms, Medical Content Management systems, Signal Detection and Risk Management solutions
- Strong understanding of Pharmacovigilance regulations
- Strong understanding of GxP compliance
- Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV)
- Strong understanding of Data Integrity principles
- Strong understanding of Global Health Authority requirements
- Experience managing SaaS and enterprise technology products
- Experience working within Agile product delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Safety, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality functions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting AI and automation initiatives within Safety or Medical Affairs
- Familiarity with Safety signal detection and management
- Familiarity with Risk Management Plans (RMPs)
- Familiarity with Aggregate reporting processes
- Familiarity with Medical Insights generation
- Familiarity with Scientific content management
- Experience with Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, or advanced analytics platforms
- Experience managing global vendors and strategic technology partners
