Job Summary
Product Expert Engineer in Technical Support at TOMRA Food, based near Leuven, Belgium. Provides technical support, remote and telephone service for customers and Field Service Engineers; troubleshoot and resolve issues; support offers, spare parts, and service time estimates; develop technical training materials; manage escalations; assist with new product integration; contribute to safety practices and continuous process improvement; split time between on-site service (~20%), desk support (~40%), process improvement (~20%), and training (~20%); requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 3–5 years of technical support experience, with strong English (additional languages welcome). Hybrid work arrangement is in effect. Salary starting around €47,000 gross annually (approx. USD equivalent).
