Job Summary
The role involves managing all technical aspects of major product design and development for suspension systems, ensuring validation and readiness for production. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and have 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, Aeronautical, or related engineering field required
- Four to six years’ experience in vehicle structural design (preferably heavy or medium duty truck)
- Exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage development projects and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience/skill in product innovation
- Some controls experience a plus
- Exposure to or training in vehicle dynamics or vibration and controls background desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead a cross-functional launch effort
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Working understanding and knowledge of Computer Aided Design and Analysis tools
- G.D. & T. and IATF 16949, ISO 9001 experience preferred
