Job Summary
Leading the cross-functional Product Engineering team to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of Quadient’s Mail hardware and software solutions in North America, ensuring reliability, serviceability, scalability, and profitability. Own product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, establish validation/compliance processes, and drive early-warning analytics. Guide design, field performance, and serviceability improvements, while partnering with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Service, and external stakeholders. Oversee design, development, and deployment of custom integrations, promote APIs and cloud-based architectures, and support services revenue. Act as technical advisor to senior leadership, manage OpEx/CapEx budgets, and develop the team through coaching and mentoring. Travel ~10%, and navigate a Hybrid/Remote-Plus in-office work model across a North American context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 8–12+ years of experience in product engineering (hardware and/or software)
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong technical expertise across Mechanical, electrical, and/or software systems
- APIs, cloud platforms, and system integrations
- Experience in mailing, document handling, software, or similar technical industries preferred
- Willingness to travel (~10%)
