Job Summary
Product Engineer responsible for research, development, design and application of cost-effective electrical and mechanical components and products at Whirlpool. Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to implement design changes aimed at improving quality and reducing manufacturing cost. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating projects, conducting engineering evaluations with guidance from senior staff, providing data-driven recommendations, overseeing internal lab testing, communicating engineering information to Project Leaders and Engineering Management, supporting engineering changes and new part releases, and coordinating outside research and vendors to apply practical research in product development. Onsite role at Mt. Pleasant, WI with relocation available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 1+ years of Engineering experience
- 1+ years of 3D CAD experience
