Job Summary
Oversee processes for qualifying new engine components and sources, including accessing, creating, or revising print packages and database information for new sensor applications and vehicles. Evaluate engine components on vehicles, determine appropriate sensors based on vehicle data and manufacturing specs, and develop tests, specifications, and procedures for components. Create and revise schematic and system drawings using CAD programs, complete supporting documentation for print packages, and modify existing applications where needed. Support the manufacturing area on sensor design, packaging, and test issues while maintaining systems for tracking timing and backlog.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year technical degree or experience judged to be equivalent
- Familiar with Excel, Access, and Word, Autodesk Software
- Good electrical/electronic background with component level troubleshooting experience
- Previous experience with vehicles and engines
- Flexibility to handle a variety of work assignments
- Must undergo a background check
- Must undergo a drug screen
- Must disclose use of prescription drugs to the screening provider
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with engine components is preferred
