Job Summary
The Product Engineer is responsible for overseeing the estimating process from customer request through to order, coordinating enquiry priorities, leading quote coordination, and providing technical support across teams. Key responsibilities include managing product cost, leading feasibility studies for new business enquiries, maintaining inter-company pricing, and generating site-specific KPIs. Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree in engineering, at least three years of manufacturing experience, strong CAD skills, and an understanding of materials in manufacturing. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in engineering or other technical field required
- 3 years manufacturing experience, or 6 years of applied manufacturing
- Strong understanding of application of materials and design in manufacturing environments
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders (internal & external) at all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software
- Database and ERP operating systems experience
- Experience within the Aerospace industry
- Experience in polymer manufacturing
