Job Summary
Product Engineer responsible for preparing manufacturing documentation (AutoCAD drawings, specifications, methods, work order attachments, BOM’s, technical reports) for new products and input into the PEP ERP system; designs, develops, and validates manufacturing tools (compression molds, extrusion dies, templates, fixtures, jigs) with associated AutoCAD drawings or machining files; troubleshoots and resolves manufacturing issues via the ECR system and assists in transferring new technologies to production; requires ability to read drawings, knowledge of manufacturing/machining processes, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Inventor; on-site at Pawling, NY with ITAR compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering-related field or equivalent in education/experience
- 1+ years relevant Engineering work experience
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Working knowledge of Auto CAD/Inventor Skills or similar
- Knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes preferred
- LEAN / Six Sigma a Plus
