Product Engineer

Lead technical development from initial concept through prototype and early production phases by establishing relationships with customer decision-makers and integrating their buying influences into project strategies. Conduct feasibility studies for new parts, define materials and production processes, and validate manufacturing tolerances while assessing environmental resource availability. Prepare control plans for slug production, test prototypes, analyze performance, and compile setup documentation. Initiate equipment design activities and oversee off-tool parts production. Collaborate with the strategic unit to identify external suppliers and participate in cost optimization activities.
