Job Summary
Lead a group of product engineers to develop automotive interior components, managing multiple assignments to meet program targets and customer requirements on time. Supervise product development applications, coordinate group workload, and mentor employees to ensure PDP Design and Engineering deliverables are met to schedule. Support business pursuits with quote deliverables and technical reviews, while executing support plans for program launches at Inteva operations and Customer plants. Effectively communicate project status to PDT and Manager, providing technical support to internal and external customers and suppliers. Travel domestically and internationally to support Inteva's programs and projects, reporting to global director-level forums. Requires 10+ years in interior partition products and advanced English.
Required Qualifications
- Supervise product engineers responsible for product development applications
- Coordinate group workload to meet all Program and PDT requirements
- Mentor and coach employees
- Ensure PDP Design and Engineering deliverables are met to schedule
- Support business pursuit with quote deliverables and technical reviews
- Ensure support plans and activities identified and executed for program launches at Inteva operations and Customer plants
- Effectively communicate project status to PDT and Manager
- Travel, both domestically and internationally, to support Inteva's programs and projects
- Strong interpersonal skills as they interact with a large cross functional Product Development Team in their daily duties
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers and suppliers
- Proven experience on each of the different product development stages of interior components
- Solid problem-solving techniques, demonstrating active contribution on different issues associated with the product development process
- Demonstrate effective leadership techniques, having direct reports engineers associated to product development components
- Ability to report to global director level forum
- Global interaction experience with OEM's, Tier I, Tier2 with interior components
- 10+ years' experience in multiple interior partition products
- Manufacturing engineering experiences of complex modules such as instrument panels, door trims, floor consoles, garnishes
- Advanced English

- Desired experience in DFSS, APQP/PPAP processes, Interior Manufacturing Processes, Product Validation (ADVP&R), DFMEA, PFMEA
