Job Summary
Product Engineer to build fintech consumer products and ship high-impact features. You’ll own end-to-end feature development including domain models, business logic, and API integrations, use a data-driven approach to product development, and leverage data pipelines and analytics (SQL) to evaluate performance. You’ll test and debug complex state machines in an event-driven backend, and ship to production daily via a rapid CI/CD process, owning implementations end-to-end and responding to production incidents as needed. This is an on-site role in San Francisco, CA, requiring Go (Golang) experience on GCP, RESTful APIs, relational databases, data pipelines (Kafka/Pub/Sub), and strong cross-functional collaboration. Visa sponsorship is available and compensation ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 USD annually depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Go (Golang) deployed on GCP
- Direct consumer product experience
- Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs including authentication/authorization patterns and rate limiting
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) including data modeling and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and code review processes
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub) for scalable data pipelines
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong CS fundamentals
